Wednesdays 6:45 - 8:15 pm (Church Fellowship Hall)

Fifth Quarter / Fire Pit         (During the school year)

What is it?     Bonfire with hot dogs, smores & music and video games in the Fellowship Hall

When is it?     After every RCHS home football game (until midnight)

Where is it?    Lexington Baptist Church, 75 Old Farm Road (phone# 463-5911)

Why is it?        Fellowship, Food & Fun for Youth after the game

(The church van will provide transportation after the game to Lexington Baptist Church.  Please arrange for a ride home from the church.  Contact Youth Pastor, Mike Dorsey at 461-1384 for more information.)

Like no other time in history, youth are looking for real answers to life's questions. They want to know truth, not just the trends and traditions.

Word of Life Local Church Ministries is all about communicating truth... Biblical Truth.

The challenge we have embraced is to "Reach youth, whose needs constantly change, with the TRUTH that never changes." This requires a delicate, but deliberate ministry.

We are committed to the local churches. We are investing in local church leaders through training and discipleship. We provide curriculum and instruction for reaching preschool (ages 4-5), children (grades 1-6), and teens (ages 13-19).

Today, there are over 100 missionaries and associates. These men and women are working with over 1,200 Word of Life Clubs across North America alone. Weekly, over 33,000 young people are being discipled through the Word of God. These young people are being challenged to reach their world for Jesus Christ!

Plugged In is a Focus on the Family publication designed to help equip parents, youth leaders, ministers and teens with the essential tools that will enable them to understand, navigate and impact the culture in which they live. Entertainment is a potent influence on our culture for both good and evil. Through our reviews and discussions of that entertainment, we hope to spark intellectual thought, family discussion, spiritual growth and a strong desire to follow the command of Colossians 2:8. "See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ."
