Osborne and Nancy Hostetter
Osborne “Ozzie” Hostetter and his wife Nancy have been married for 53 years and have three grown children: Joey & Jason Hostetter and Karen Jackson. He has been a member at LBC for over 51 years. He is an assistant teacher for an adult Sunday School class and his wife Nancy is a Nurturer Group Leader for the Heart to Heart Ladies Ministry and is always willing to lend a hand in the church kitchen. Osborne is a retired meat cutter from County Super Market (15 years) and Quality Grocer (14 years). Afterwards he worked for the county school system (Lexington High & Rockbridge) and later retired, but is still a substitute with the Rockbridge school system. Osborne’s hobbies include camping and deep sea fishing. His favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 12:2.

Jody and Linda Moore

Jody Moore and his wife Linda have been married for 41 years and have two grown children: son Kevin & wife Karen with children Kelsey & Kraig, and daughter Michelle Trout & husband Randy with children Jacob & Madisyn. He has been a member at LBC for 48 years. Jody serves on the church’s Counting Committee, is one of Lexington Baptist’s groundskeepers and is also the Usher Coordinator. Jody and Linda are the church custodians and they take great care in making sure the church is clean and ready for services each Sunday. In his spare time he likes to fish and hunt. Jody’s favorite Bible verse is Galatians 2:20.

Clyde and Angie Moore

Clyde Moore and his wife Angie have been married for 35 years and are parents to Laura who is a school teacher. He has been a member for 6 years at LBC. Clyde is the lead teacher of an adult Sunday School class and serves as a trustee of the church. You can also hear him playing the beautiful organ music during the Sunday worship services. Angie is involved in the church’s Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU) and is a Sunday morning greeter. Clyde is retired from Burlington Industries where he was a purchasing manager. His hobbies include taking daily walks and yard work. Clyde’s favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5.

Dale and Carol Meyer

Dale Meyer and his wife Carol have been married for 34 years and have three grown children: Ross, Scott and Laura and two grandchildren. He has been a member for over 5 years at LBC. Dale is the assistant teacher for an adult Sunday School class and Carol works faithfully in the church nursery. He is employed by the BARC Electric Cooperative as Manager of Operations & Engineering. His interests include collecting and repairing antique clocks. Dale’s favorite Bible verse is Psalm 37: 3 & 4.

Sean and Chrissy Godden

Sean Godden and his wife Chrissy have been married for 16 years and have three children: Andrew (11), Jonathan (9) and Annamarie (5). He has been a member at LBC for over 2 years and teaches the Family Foundations Sunday School class. Sean and Chrissy also serve in Children’s Church. Sean is a representative for a company that manufactures surgical devices. When not working, his hobbies include his family, soccer, auto racing, coaching, yard work and vacationing. Sean’s favorite Bible verses are John 14: 16-17 and Romans 5: 1-2

Clyde and Sherry Harden

Clyde Harden and his wife Sherry have been married for 24 years and are the parents of Meagan who is a senior at Parry McCluer High School. He has been a member at LBC for over 10 ½ years and is the Sunday School Superintendent and helps work the sound board for the worship services. His wife Sherry coordinates the Sunday Morning Greeters list. He is an account manager for ARAMark and in his off time he enjoys cars and golf. Clyde’s favorite Bible verse is Romans 5: 3-5
