Glenn and Mary Kuhar

Pastor Glenn Kuhar and wife Mary

Pastor Glenn became the Worship Pastor at Lexington Baptist Church in the Fall of 2008. He is a graduate of Piedmont Baptist College (now Piedmontd International University) with an A.A. in Bible and a B.S. in Music Education.

His responsibilities at LBC include leading the Adult Choir, Handbell Choir, Service planning, and assisting in various other ministries and administrative duties.  His goal at Lexington Baptist Church is to maintain a biblically supported and balanced music program.  He desires people to worship in Spirit and in truth each time they meet together. (John 4:24).

Pastor Glenn and Mary were married at Lexington Baptist Church in January 2011 and have lived in Lexington for 3yrs.  He enjoys playing racquetball, working in the garden, and watching movies.  You can find Pastor Glenn on Facebook or Twitter as Glennird.  His e-mail address is gkuhar@centurylink.net.


Pastor Mike Dorsey and wife Marlene

Pastor Dorsey has served as the church's associate pastor since 2007. He also serves as director of the building project Generations Hall.   Pastor Dorsey recently graduated from Piedmont International University (formerly Piedmont Baptist College) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible with a minor in Church Education. He is currently working on a M.A. in Biblical Studies.

Pastor Dorsey and his wife Marlene, have three daughters, Analeigh, Sarah, and Abby.  Pastor Dorsey enjoys family, music, sports, relaxation and cinema.  Pastor Dorsey can be contacted through email at mdorsey@centurylink.net


Rachel Newhouse and husband Chuck

Rachel has been the secretary at Lexington Baptist for 5 years.  She helps support various programs of the church including preparing the weekly UpDate, paperwork processing, answering the phone and other various ministries.

She and her husband Chuck, who is a Civil Engineering professor at VMI, have been married 20 years and work with the College & Career Sunday School class.  They are both graduates of Virginia Tech.  Chuck and Rachel  have two children -  Benjamin who is a 9th grader and Lydia who is in 6th grade.
